In this Art in Focus Tech Tuesday lecture on 31 May 2021, visual artist Shimon Attie responds to Techspressionism: Digital & Beyond in light of technology’s expressive potential for re-imagining relationships between space, time, place, memory and identity. Attie discusses the criteria he used (24:36 minutes) to select the works he discusses, one of which is Roy Nicholson’s 2021 work from the Toxic Garden (Morning Glory) Series, 24 Hours (Gloaming) (30:24 minutes).
