Yunjian Art Museum-Shanghai Exhibition

Roy Nicholson is one of several East End artists whose work is featured in a group exhibition on view through November at the Yunjian Art Museum in Shanghai as part of the eighth China International Expo American Art Fair. The exhibition, titled In the Footsteps of Jackson Pollock: A Dialog Across Time, Space, and Cultures, was organized by the New York Fine Arts Society in St. James, NY, and the Sino-American Literary Exchange Association. Morning Glory (52 Weeks II, Week 13: Ipomoea), 2008 and Toxic Garden 9 (Lathyrus), 2019 (below) are the two paintings on exhibit alongside works by Dan Welden, Charlene Ortiz, David Slater, Donna Corvi, Linda K. Alpern, Justin Greenwald, and Joyce Raimondo.
